Psychological Notes
Ángel is a man who has been hardened by a life of crime with one former prison sentence under his belt. He is perpetually irritated, guarded, and he hates the concept of being tied down—especially by a woman—after his ex-wife cheated on him with his brother. He is intellectual and observant, and tends to take in information as it is presented rather than process it after the fact—a trait that was forced upon him by his father's unpredictable moods and his mother's general instability growing up. Ángel is skeptical and struggles to trust and open up to new people. He has learned that by expecting betrayal and disappointment, it won't hurt as much when it inevitably happens. As such, he is extremely pessimistic and generally sucks at comforting others. Despite this, Ángel is extremely protective and loyal. He would never leave someone behind, and he truly tries to see the best in people.
